During the summers of 1955 and 1956, my family constructed a two-room cabin in Frisco, Colorado. It was a place where I enjoyed some of the best quality time with my parents and two brothers, and in time where my brothers and I enjoyed similar memories with our families. My father took pictures every day during the cabin's construction. One labeled "The Twelfth Day" was the inspiration for this painting. Peak One towers over Frisco in the distance.
